Initial complaint of no motor action.
Checked brushes, hardly worn at all. Set to spin and motor ran perfectly so asked about previous load.
Customer showed me the wet washing she had pulled out and in it was a very heavy bath mat.
Problem solved thinks I, OOB.
Put load back in minus bathmat and machine started to spin perfectly, just about to turn it off when it went totally dead, no lights on display.
Checked supply and fuse, both OK.
Eventually found that by wiggling the rotary selector knob I could get it working again.
Has anyone else encountered this or tried switch cleaner on the switch?
Jim.
Supplementary question, do these pcb’s need programming?
