Hi Hoping someone can help. My dishwasher Bosch SGS43C02GB/35 stoped working. Initially i thought it was a water inlet issue as no water was in the machine. I took the side off and noticed the regulator/pressure module( with the red float) was full of what appeared to be congealed fat and crud and the float wasn’t moving. I took it apart and cleaned it out and put it back together. When you start a cycle it seems to drain initially then fill with water then doesn’t move onto the next stage, It seems trapped in a fill drain cycle. The float moves up then stops the fill and it drains a bit then it will start to fill again as the float has dropped. Is this normal? is it not moving on to the next stage due to the pump not being signalled to run or is it likely the pump is at fault? Is there a test i can do to try and diagnose whats happening?

Hi there is a jug impeller which is normally located after the water value normally connected with a blue pipe I would look at that 1st

Hi Thanks for the reply, I’ve just been and had a look and i don’t have one of them, There is something that appears to be operated by air pressure. I think i put the connector on the wrong way. I did a con check across the pins of the microswitch and had continuity across two pins which i didn’t have connected. Put the connector on these pins and it sparked into life. Seems the blockage was the cause of the original fault and my own stupidity caused the secondary issue!! Thanks again though. Your reply steered me in the right direction.
