Hi I have little experience in refrigeration but I have a fridge freezer tripping the electric it’s a hotpoint Ffa52 any ideas where i should start

Hello, normally with a frost free fridge freezer tripping, it’s earth leakage attributed to either the defrost heater or compressor.
So, first thing would be to megger it and if you get a bad reading then take these components out of circuit until the reading is good.
