    anybody come across a rolling lite colourd display on this microwave oven before ? any any ideas who will supply new pcb for it. QER wont repair this type. due to the way the ribbon cable is bonded to the pcb

    These are quite common to fail, only available from Sharp at about £40 trade, you only get the display pcb which is a pig of a job to refit/solder.

    sorry im still new to this site and working my way around.
    soldering wont be a problem i have a friend who works in
    medical electronics. im shure he must have good eyesight for the soldering. im not even going to attempt it myself. 8)
