    Hi Guys, above American F/F according to customer had a noisy fan but now doesn’t seem to be working. Says bottom 2 drawers in freezer and fridge are icing up. Any ideas, don’t usually work on these appliances but getting so many calls about them thought I would give it a go. Any help much appreciated.

    Hi

    Normally a broken fan blade or the defrost heater is not pushed in fully.

    Also worth checking the thin polystyrene sheet on the back of the plastic cover at the top of the freezer…. They had a habit of soaking up moisture, resulting in a series of bumps when it freezes instead of a nice smooth surface, letting the fan blades catch on the bumps
