    The machine beeps once when the mains is powered on but nothing appears on the LED display. If I randomly press and release the 6 buttons for about 10 secs the LED shows the time of the selected washing cycle but the buttons (program/delay/3-in-1 tablet etc) do not respond to presses.

    If I then open the door and close it again the buttons work correctly and I can change the program or set the delay as required. The dishwasher then completes it’s cycle correctly (although we have noticed the dishes are not dry as they used to be) but the buttons once again become unresponsive so I have to power off and start the whole process again before I can use the dishwasher again.

    At first I thought it was just dodgy buttons but they work perfectly once I do the procedure above so maybe it’s something much more serious 🙁

    Any help would be appreciated as I need to decide if a repair would be cost effective to replacing it.

    Opening and closing the door makes it work so perhaps the door switch or the door itself isn’t closing as it should?
