Neff W5420XOGB/32 integrated washer drier. FD9211.

Turn the machine on to a program press start – door interlock doesn’t activate but beeps several times and flashes light 3 in the spin (left) column and lights 3 and 4 in the cycle progress (right hand) column. Looked this up and can only find this code set up listed as a BSH honeycomb drum machine? This shows the fault as a motor problem; but I was thinking it was the interlock as the lock looks burnt and doesn’t activate at all. Will the motor throw up a fault code immediately on start up and before the door locks?

It’s been really frustrating with BSH machines this week; never normally have a problem with them but like buses, when you don’t need them they all come at once……..

    Any ideas or pointers please!!

    Cheers,

    Steve.

Yep, tried all that. The interlock arrived yesterday so going to see if that works. Probably not seeing the week I’ve had…….. 😈

    Thanks,

    Steve.

    if it works ok

if not i would check the brushes anyway.to see if they may have caused the fault. other posters on here have said they had problems resetting some machines if the brushes were open circuit.
not had that problem yet but it cant hurt to check

    best of luck

Brush split and jammed in the holder! New brushes fitted and reset procedure 3 times and it burst into life!
Thanks Dave for the pointers – when you have a :poo: week and every job is long, dirty, fiddly or difficult to diagnose, you start to lose interest and with it your ability to think straight. But it worked and now I’m going to try the other machine with remarkably the same issues….. wish me luck!
