Have one of these & am driven mad by this beeping! Its not all the time & it works fine re cooling. Where exactly is the beeper situated please? I intend to snip the wires going to it.
    Thanks

    Re: LG 207TUJA intermittent beeping

The beeping is there for a reason.

If it’s beeping then it’s not cold enough.

Try taking your food out and get somebody to look after it then turn it off and leave the doors open for 48 Hours / 2 Days.

This should clear ice build up on the freezer evaporator and it should solve the beeping problem when you turn it back on.

might also be a misalignment of the magnet on the top of the door with the reed switch which operates the light when the door opens. Alarm may be ” door open “

This model is an American style and unlikely to be a magnet / door out of alignment fault.

will try these suggestions, thanks. However the freezer & fridge both seem to be cool enough! Any pointers to where the actual buzzer/chime thing is located? Is it soldered into the main circuit board?

It’s on the main PCB but only sounds for a reason.

Try the 2 day 48 hour defrost first this should cure the buzzer noise.
