    I have a hotpoint ultima wmud10637,it’s a 10kg load 1600 spin.
After various fault codes,in order of appearance,f:01,f:04,f:05 which all cleared after unplugging I’m now stuck with f:11 which I’m told is drain pump?is this correct?im concerned that there were so many fault codes before,I am really stuck with no washing machine,I’m a single mum of 4 and really need advice on the most cost effective way to repair, the machine isn’t that old and I was expecting it to last longer than it has.i asked at one repair shop and was told to call out a hotpoint engineer but am concerned at how much that will cost!we just left an abusive situation and I’m having to replace a lot of stuff like sofa, kids toys etc so finances are stretched as it is,any advice would be welcome x

    Re: Help needed!

The electronics on these ‘Indesit’ machines are known to be very unreliable.

F04,F05 and F11 all relate to various drain pump faults. Have you checked and if needed cleaned out the drain pump filter?

F01 is more of a problem, it is supposed to be a main motor triac fault but it can be anything from a loose wiring connection to a motor or main circuit board fault.

If it is under five years old then you are covered for all parts and Hotpoint (Whirlpool) will only charge you for the labour which is just above the £100 mark AFAIK.
