I have had a call to the above machine. Having looked a the forum I believe the E16 fault indicates a door interlock fault.

I have replaced the door lock but am not sure how to reset this model.

Can someone let me know how to do this please.

    Thanks,

    Keith.

I think it’s selector switch to 6 o’clock, hold spin speed button and one click clockwise.

    Thanks nomadPaul,
I tried this as it is the only method I know but it didn’t work so wondered if there’s another way for this model?

    Just to update this post.
On this machine I have managed to obtain the following:
    1) Close the door (The following operational sequence must take place after switching on the appliance)
    2) Set program selector to OFF position
    Wait for at least 2s
    3) Set program selector switch to position 15 while the Start/Pause button is pressed until display is active
    4) Release Start/Pause button
All remanent errors will be reset

Funnily enough , I went to one today and found its this old method of resetting faults/entering test programme. I wish they’d make their bloomin minds up about which method to use !
