    Hello
    I called to a Bosch WAQ24461GB/14 – 8KG washing machine
    There was E29 error displayed
    I checked the double solinode valve and one of the coils was open circuit .
    I had a similar Bosch valve coil with me so I replaced the coil.
    Water now enters the washing machine when the program dial is moved from the off position once the door lock engages even before the start button is pressed.
    Water even comes in on the spin and drain programs.
    I wonder has anyone come across this .
    The machine is in an outhouse and the fault may well have not been noticed prior to the coil failing , I am thinking if water was coming in on all of the programs that this may be the reason the valve coil went open circuit initially.
    Any ideas appreciated

    I would say the triac on the module has failed

    valve coils are only rated for about 10 mins use otherwise they overheat and fail.
    so either the valve has gone and blown the triac or vice versa
