I have a NEFF: U1661NOGB/02 FD 8201 double oven which seems to be not getting to the correct temperature. My wife has been complaining the oven is not as hot as she expects for a particular setting. So I bought an oven thermometer and tested it, and indeed it seems to be too low. On maximum Fan mode setting of 190C it is achieving about 172C. On non fan mode setting of 220C it is about 200C.
I’m guessing the heating elements are not responsible as they can get the oven to 220C for example so FAN 190C should be possible.
It seems the thermostat that controls the heating elements is not accurate ? Are they adjustable so I can correct the setting or can they just read low sometimes ?

Tony
Re: NEFF: U1661NOGB/02 FD 8201 Oven Temperature Low
Hi Martin,
The thermostat is obviously working to some extent as the temperature is controlled so it must open/close and control the power to the elements, but is just doing that at the wrong temperatures. Can they fail in such a way ?
Thanks
Tony
