    Hi,

I need to replace my integrated fridge freezer due to sticking a sharp knife in the old one in an attempt to defrost it (I know, I know, I’m an idiot!). As this is something I’ve never had to do I’m quite nervous of making the wrong choice and ending up buying something that doesn’t fit right. I’d be grateful if someone could help by pointing out the things i need to look for to get it right.
The broken one is Electrolux ERN29600. I want a frost free one (for obvious reasons!) and have seen the AEG SCT71800S1 that I quite like in terms of drawer/shelf options. Would that be a “fitting” replacement?
Any tips or suggestions would be very welcome!

    Thank you!
    Sarah

The integrated fridge freezers will fit in a standard tower unit. The difference is the split of the doors. They come in 70/30 60/40 and 50/50. this is what you have to get right.

    Hi

Buy a Liebherr.. You won’t regret it.. buying the cheaper ones you will regret it.

    Hi

From what I can find your Electrolux is a 70 : 30 split with sliders on the doors.

If the Liebherr is a non starter then the Bosch range is worth a look then the Hotpoint machines.

Thank you everyone for the suggestions, I will definitely take a look at those brands.
Yes 70:30 split. I hadn’t realised the sliders were relevant, I assume the replacement should have the same then.

    Hi

Yes go for a machine that takes sliders, this type will give you far more choice, be cheaper to buy and you will not need to change the cabinet hinges.

    HTH 🙂
