Quite amazed by info on this website re branding, excellent.
Now have some big questions on buying cooker though!
My mum needs to swap a 90 90 range cooker so we looking at Leisure CK90C230 cook master at £809 in John Lewis and Currys.
It’s pushing it price wise though. We don’t really need the range size though, so we looked at the Zanussi ZCV66000WA White 90, 60 at £449 in John Lewis.
But would be an expense and hassle
to customise space left around that 90 90 integrated space if we get a smaller one.

If I have read your info correctly, the zanussi is better quality and perhaps better oven configuration even though it’s smaller!? But am
    not sure.

Also please, who is best to order from JL or Curries?

Any thoughts on this conundrum much appreciated!

    Thanks maria 😕

Well, the Leisure is a Beko cooker in a fancy dress so you could probably buy the same thing with the Beko badge on it for less, possibly substantially less.

The Zanussi is okay. Better than some of the stuff out there for sure.

Thank you very much for this.

Interestingly, there doesn’t seem to be much in the way of Beko stainless steel 90 cm by 90 cm Range. Could the marketing be thought through to the extent that this Leisure model has no real Beko budget option?!!

No idea, all I can tell you Arcelik in Turkey (Beko) made that model, all three variants of it.

    Yes.
From my search, it seems Beko have actually thought it through.

There is no current product in their Beko badged (cheaper) range, that could take the place of their more expensive brand Leisure model, interns of size, colour and basic functionality.

So it’s not easy to work around their marketing.

    Unbelievable really.

I’m appalled by what I’ve learnt from your site today. People lose (not just money, also time and stress)and big corporations win.

    Thanks again 🙂
