We replaced the control PCB on this model the fault being no heat, new module rectified the issue but the 35 degree wash now takes 2 hours. This we believe is a configuration problem. The Paperwork that accompanies Part Number 00489607 mentions Sicasym and appliances up to Ki12 and G Control and H Control.

All of the previous PCB replacements we have done the setup procedure has always been to select a number 1 – 7 to configure but this is different.

Does anyone know which configuration we should chose as the interpretation we have is that G control should be selected ?

Configuration is not required on this model. The instructions refer to with or with Sicasym and whether you select it as ‘on’or ‘off’ sicasym it will not alter the program. So in effect you can ignore that instruction leaflet.

As for the 35deg taking 2 hours do the other program options work OK?

Thanks Martin, to be honest its another engineer who has fitted this part and he seems to think that it operates normally on the other wash cycles. He is due to return to investigate further on that point. Thanks
