I’m considering buying a AEG DC4013021M Electric Double Oven – partly because I like the idea of the telescopic oven runners that allow you to pull out a grill or oven pan that is self supporting.

However, I’m a little worried that they might not be reliable or are not as useful as they might seem, with so am interested to hear about what they are really like in use…..

    Thank you!

    Hi

Yes they are a good idea especially for the elderly as instead of having to bend down onto knees ect and having to lean into the oven and possibility of arms being burnt they are good.

Thanks – do you know if they are reliable over the long term (I’m thinking of 5 years or so, hopefully before I need that Zimmer frame!). The runners on my fridge drawers are feeling their age but consequences of a bit of salad falling on the floor isn’t quite the same as a tray of roast potatoes in hot fat falling on my foot…
