    The fan oven in my Cannon Harrogate 60 now takes two or three minutes to start whereas it used to start instantly. Having started it cooks normally but I wonder if a part is about to die. Any ideas please.

    Most probably the fan unit bearings are dry and seizing? A squirt of 3 in 1 or WD40 may be all that’s required?

    Many thanks for the advice which seems to have worked. The oven is now starting instantly again.
