    Hi All,

I’m hoping you can help us work out whats wrong with our Miele Fridge Freezer (Kfn8762sded) that keeps randomly beeping! (its driving us crazy) :eeek: :eeek: :eeek:

Since yesterday it has randomly started to beep at us (three beeps in a row). When we open the fridge door the freezer temperature indicator is flashing. It appears the freezer temperature is too high at -4 degrees Celsius.

We then press the alarm button to turn off the beeping however, this keeps randomly occurring any time during the day or night. I put a manual thermometer in the freezer compartment however and when it happens the temperature in the freezer itself is still -18 degrees which makes me think that the thermostat is the problem.

Does anyone have experience of this problem and know what the root cause is? I don’t want to replace the themorstat in the freezer only to find that another component is at fault.

This is the part that I think I need to replace.

Hi Doug, if you had a sensor issue it will give you a F code in the display.

Try a 48 hour defrost as it may have built up too much ice.

Empty the fridge and freezer turn it off and leave the doors open for 48 hours / 2 Days.

When you turn it back on it should be back to normal after about 4 hours if not you may have a refrigerant of fan problem.

    Bob
