I have a Stoves 720EF dual electric oven which has given sterling service without trouble for many years. This morning there were no lights on the clock panel and the controls would not work. Power is still OK as the oven fan still works when the oven door is opened. Looking at the circuit diagram in the manual I would guess that the programmer/timer module has failed. Is a module still likely to be available as the cooker is about 20 years old? Are ther any other tests I could do to confirm the diagnosis before ordering one (if possibile)?

the clock is probably obsolete but it should be possible to isolate the clock so the oven will work without it by joining the correct wires inside the cooker

It’s a common failing, I’ve replaced a few. The module/clock unit is still widely available (part no 082595501) at around 70 quid. Easy fit too!
