I have a Bosch WTA2000 and it blew the RCD after running for 30mins or so. After removing the back panel, I noticed the bracket connecting the bearing to the drum had worn out where the rivets hold it in place. I can’t see a replacement part in the store, although I suspect it might need a new drum as the bracket is riveted to the drum.
Any suggestions before I order a new dryer?

Thanks, I saw that Martin but that doesn’t help with the riveted bracket which is the issue with my dryer. Did you look a the pictures? You can see the hole the rivet grasps is worn and widened.

I didn’t look closely at your photos to be honest otherwise I would have realised the problem, sorry. But there is a solution in the form of BKT64, a pattern bearing unit that fits in circumstances when the drum spider support rivets give way. Not shown in the spares store on this website sadly but I enclose a link to another, though the part (if still available?) is a bit on the pricey side. 😕
