New World SGO60 200502033 door hinges

The oven door is not closing tightly and not holding open horizontally as it used to do. So clearly a hinge or spring problem

The hinge mechanism is not in the door like other common designs, but seems to be within the oven itself.

Can anyone please confirm if this is the case, and the oven does need to be dismantled to get at the hinges/spring, or is there another way?
