Sometimes one feels very stupid posting a question…..but this one fooled me:
I went to a slimline Zanussi ZDS22002WA dishwasher (2-3 yrs old) tonight. It was overfilling, flooding the base pan and activating the antiflood float. Simple, I thought – blocked pressure switch or whatever controls the water level….
With all panels off, damned if I could find a pressure switch or any other device to control the water level. No magnetic wheel like the later Bosch units…nothing..
So call me stupid but if you know this machine PLEASE tell me how the water level is controlled on this particular dishwasher? (PNC 911 059 007 01) :crying:
It does have a pressure switch but it is in a different location to normal, look for a little sensor clipped to the sump housing towards the rear left of the sump with 2 or 3 (I cant remember precisely) small wires coming from it. Part No: 4055346060 is the switch.
They are water operated devices as opposed to the more normal air operated units and in the couple of cases that I have seen they have always filled with sediment.
