    Hi,
I’ve been out to a newish Hoover condenser dryer today. When it’s turned on all 6 lights in two rows of 3 flash and it’s won’t start. If I go into what I think is diagnostics, Hold start while turning dial 3 clicks clockwise, after pressing start it turns for a few seconds and then displays, top row lights 1 and 3
Bottom row lights 1 and 2.

If anybody can shed any light on this machine it would be appreciated as usual.

    Cheers

    Nick

I’ve had a look and tested the heater (+stats) and took a look at the pub for any signs of damage but nothing. Didn’t think of the NTC but just wondered what the fault code meant.

The only way to find the fault code is to plug in hoovers mem loader front ntc goes a lot on these. Check location if outside it wount work because of ambient temp. Kai

It was outside, In a garage. Do you mean if it goes under a certain temperature it won’t work. It wasn’t that cold today, maybe 9 degrees outside but must have been warmer in the garage. What temperature do you start to have problems? Wow this is all new to me.

They have problems with these dryer as they design them for kitchens don’t know what the ambient temp should be but I deliver new 1s about 2 years ago and was told buy Hoover engineer my mate they where having the problem if they where outside so most likely the front ntc don’t know if they have modified the part.
