Hi there. Thanks for reading, in advance.

I’ve had my ISE10, for 6 years, and for the most part, it’s served me well. Today, I find midwash, water is leaking from the underside, near where the drain pump is. Yesterday I cleared some coins from the filter after an F3 error code (nothing unusual about that).

So I take off the front lower panel, and establish whilst running another wash that the water seems to be coming from the drain pump.

    So my question is…

Is it likely that I need a new Drain pump, (should I try and source one?) or is it just as likely that the fault could be elsewhere and it just “appears” that the water is coming from the drainpump. I’m no washing machine repairs person, when all said and done.

But If it IS the drain pump, how likely am I (or the repair person) to source one?

I know of the ISE issues! 🙁

    Thanks for any responses, Jo

If pump has been subjected to constant misuse from coins then the body of the pump may have been damaged. Pump is still available in the Store at Ukwhitegoods, follow the link at the top of the page. Quite expensive at £61.80, might be possible to source an ASKO one cheaper by putting that part number in Google.

Not a difficult job to change generally.

You’d have to check with Dave on spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk but I’m pretty sure this is the cheapest one we found that fits perfectly….

But that doesn’t include the pumps plastic body which may well have been damaged by the coins Ken. 😉

Never come across one so bad Jim and it’d take some doing.

As the water is ‘pithering’ out as opposed to just dripping, seeping or oozing out I wonder just how much water comes out at a ‘pither’?

    pither, pithering

verb – to prevaricate, doing other things rather than the important task at hand
