Just received renewal quote for public liability insurance from Alliance.
It’s £359 renewal, excess is £250 been with them several years and never put in a claim, I am a limited company and it is just me,
My son has his own limited company doing the same domestic appliance repair and has the same £359 renewal. I am winding down a bit and not doing so many jobs as l am 66,
What do you pay if it’s a lot less then me who are you with.Re: Public liability insurance what do you pay
Are you a WTA member as we got PL insurance a lot cheaper on their deal, whoever it was with, can’t recall. Just remember it saving over £100 PA.

I have been with the Co-op ever since I started on my own so well over 30 years. The highest premium was around £138 but it has reduced in last few years. Last August I paid £122.95, same excess as yours as well.
The Co-op gave up the public liability insurance side about four or five years ago, and the premiums started to be collected by Premiums Credit Direct. Direct Line £201, domestic appliance maintenance, 1 manual worker, 1 clerical worker, £10 million employer liability, £5 million public liability, £250 excess, excludes processes involving application of heat.
