    Hiya,

With my trusty ZWF1221 giving us smelly washing and now failing with a strange code on top of failing to find someone to swap the drum seal I’ve decided to change it.

As I have just signed up to British Gas free electric I felt a washer dryer would be the way to go. Looking around I keep landing on the LG FH4U2TDH1N, £614 with a 5yr warranty but I cant find any reviews/opinions on LG kit.

Wondered if anyone has opinions on them as a supplier or their build quality?

    TIA
    Baz

What is the strange code? Why the need to change the tank seal, is it because you want to dismantle it to clean out the rubbish or does it appear to leak from the t/seal? Most leaks at 6o/clock on these things are caused by a hole in the dispenser to tank hose and the water runs down the curvature of the tank giving the impression you have a leaking seal when it is not the case.

Thanks for the comments, I read the links and started to doubt my choices so I still haven’t purchased yet. The Zanussi has a leaking door seal at 6 we can see the hole. The error code is all 5 lights flashing together, I did run a diagnostic but cant remember the result now. I still think it’s time to change just a question of what to!
