Digital display say it is working but is definitely defrosting. Can you help! But most Beko American type if the compressor is running it may be the fan faulty. If it is silent and not running then most likely the main pcb faulty. It looks like the bottom of the freezer was still frozen but thawing further up. Could just be because heat rises so this went first? Any help greatly appreciated. Bob December 14, 2016 at 8:53 pm #443716 SAMURIParticipant Re: beko american fridge freezer To check the fan when the compressor is running you can open the freezer door and press and hold the light switch. If the fan does not cut in within about 60 seconds the fan is most likely faulty. You will have to disconnect and remove the Icemaker to gain access to the rear panel.
