ParticipantHello all
I have an ISE w1607w – The drainage pump started making a noise recently and now I get the F11 (Drainage) error and it’s not making any noise at all now!
We’ve checked the filter for any coins/blockages and checked elsewhere but can’t find anything, so I assume the pump has failed.
Can anybody confirm which pump is the correct replacement? https://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/ise-drain-pumps
Is it feasible to replace this ourselves?
Many thanks!

Hi,
my machine making horrible grinding noise on pumping, despite having cleared out coins and hairpins…,
sounds like will probabaly need replacing pump (machine 6yrs old, and obviously no warranty available anymore… 🙁 ,how easy is it to replace the pump? can anyone give me some guidance on how to do this, or will I need to call out expensive engineer?

From memory, you need to do that one from the back or it’s a pain as you’d have to take the front panel off.
I *think* there’s two screws securing the pump from below that you need to get to.

Hi
This video covers it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6bV7XLmqfzE (Don’t be put off by the different model/manufacturer, this is what the ISE is based on)
Took me about 20 minutes, if that, and was very easy. You’ll need some pinch clamp pliers (or just get some screw type hose clamps. It comes with the pinch type)
There are no screws holding the pump in, it slides in to rubber mounts.
Hope this helps
