Now I`m stuck on one! Beko c/t/dryer trips electric as soon as swt`d on and started and tracked it down to the thermistor on the heater going to earth which is somewhat supprising to me. Anyway, there`s been a part number change from 2970100900 to 2970101500 the new heater unit having a redesigned thermistor. New heater duly fitted……now get no heat at all!!! What is it with all this stuff? So has anyone got any ideas please. PCB relays perhaps?

Hi Dave, thanks as always. Yes I thought of that, i.e. not sensing damp clothes in the machine = no heat. So did try on timed heat but makes no difference. Any other ideas please

there is a second thermistor at the front that senses the heat in the filter area. if that is out of spec it will either overheat or not heat as it thinks its hot enough

after that you would need to see if the heater relays on the board are energising or not

I’ve had this same problem on a beko dcu7230 the thermistor has taken the board out, 1 other thing have you put wet cloths in as the heater works through the sensor kai
