INDESIT UIAA 12 Freezer hell!

OK so I know I “should” have registered to get the 10yr warranty. BUT I don’t accept a freezer should become unusable at 14months!
Anyhow, it’s always been quite a frosty freezer especially the top drawer. I tried taking the seal off and turning upside down and reinstalling it. defrosted. No difference!
HMMM…. So I put a torch inside and looked for light. Yep, as I thought, the top seal looks like a banana and is away from the body. I tried (yes a DIY bodge) to insert some extra strong magnets in this bit to pull it in tighter. Slight improvement but still frosting up.
Next step – brand new replacement seal. Fitted, defrosted, and…..SAME PROBLEM!
Had a look at the moulded door channel and it bows downwards.So I think it is a defective door / manufacturing fault.
I have no idea what to do next. Indesit dont want to know. They say it will be a chargeable engineer visist. To be honest I’m ready to just scrap it and buy something better.

Any ideas what I can do /where get help /any thing else i’ve missed?
