I’ve just brought my first ever dishwasher, – hotpoint FDFSM3111 1P
Set it up following the instructions, once set up, we filled it up and set the controls for the first use, after the cycle had finished and the door was opened, we noticed it hadn’t dried the dishes, then we noticed it hadn’t actually cleaned them, and the dishwasher tablet had not been used, the dishes were also cold so I assume that the water wasn’t heating up either,
I’m hoping it’s something simple, possibly operator error as I’m not used to using a dishwasher, so any help/ advice would be appreciated

Was there any sign of water going into the machine?
Sounds faulty, go back to the retailer.

Yes there is water going in, and draining out, it’s running the full cycle, just not cleaning, I’ve got an engineer coming next week I just wanted to see if it’s something I’m doing wrong,

Can’t think of anything unless it is the first dishwasher I have come across that has a cold wash cycle. 🙂 Who supplied it?

Got it from currys, I’m going to contact them tomorrow I think and ask for a replacement unit
