ParticipantDishwasher is displaying Error Code 24 + ‘Check water supply’. I have reviewed this thread as the circumstances are similar – post348820.html?hilit=Siemens{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}20error{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}20code{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}2024#p348820
I have removed the drain pump and checked the filter for blockages – they are all clear. After reassembly the unit ran two cycles without a problem, on the third cycle it stopped shortly after starting and displayed error code 24, I opened the door, switched it on and off restarted it and so far it is running through the cycle. I have checked the drain hose for blockages and its clear. The water supply up to the point of the the Aquastop connection is good and the filter is clear.
I have tried it on the rinse cycle, the machine runs through two cycles of different sounding pump noises (approx. three minutes duration) and then switches off and displays error 24 + ‘Check water supply’, opening the door to interrupt the cycle as described in the related post doesn’t solve the problem.
The other post also refers to ‘….the non-return valve which is situated in the sump..’ is an image of this valve available as I can’t see anything that looks like it may be such a valve.
The unit is just over six years old.
Many Thanks
Martin

Thank you, are the connections push on/off, is any type of sealing material required? At home today so hoping to progress the solution.
Cheers
Martin

I’m not sure what connections you refer to? No sealing material required. Here’s how to remove though go easy with the screwdriver as no force required.

Okay thanks – I presume that I need to remove the case bottom to enable the hose to be pulled from the drain pump casing as the ‘U’ bracket which holds the hose in place is a part of the case bottom moulding and the distance from the bracket to the to drain pump casing is too short to allow the hose to be bent upwards?
Will you be able to respond to the other parts of my initial post as I don’t want to take the ease bottom of and replace it only to have to remove it again for something else if the non-return valve isn’t blocked in any way.
Many thanks
Martin
