I have a Bosch WAE2446BUK/17 FD which is having issues spinning at her end of programs. It has been getting progressively more unreliable, to the point where it never spins at program end. If we set a spin manually, it had often then achieved it, but now only if we remove part of the load. I have checked draining function, impeller clear, and when I filled machine and drained to bowl it chucked the water out fast, and switched pump off quickly. I have checked the pressure chamber at pipe and can’t find any fouling or blockages. I did wonder if it could be Out of balance sensor going faulty or dampers going soft but I am not sure how to diagnose if either of these apply. I can send a video of pushing drum back and forth and how long dampers take to damp if this helps? I have checked the sump rubber pipe bit too. Andy

Also just checked one of the brushes and have a good inch plus left, other one is more difficult to access but I wouldn’t expect it to be significantly different length?

    Hi
Obviously if brushes have same length and look OK brushes is not the issue, otherwise I would replace them.

A slight earth leakage of the heating element will create the symptoms you describe. If both brushes are fine then test the heater.
