Hi all. I’d really appreciate some help on this one. My dryer just stopped working before the xmas period, less than a month old. No power to the machine but fuses and all definitely okay. I randomly left the door open on it and switched the plug on yesterday and when i went through a few hours later it was on! What could be the problem here? If anyone has any clues or ideas it would be of great help. Cheers.

    Hi all.

    Any assistance would be great!

I recently bought a new indesit vented tumble dryer but after a couple of weeks i lost power to it. Fuse was fine, as were plugs so no explanation.

This was just before xmas and yesterday, i randomly opened the door on the thing and left the power on to it. Low and behold i went through couple of hour later and it was on! Went on fine but after twenty mins or so cut out and again same situation,… no power!

    Anyone any ideas???

    Cheers.

You should never open the door before the cool down phase is completed or you risk mucking the stats up or blowing them totally.

But as it’s under warranty you’d be best advised to log a service call than attempt anything yourself.

And I merged the two posts to save confusion.

    K.
