Can anyone please help me. I cannot see how to gain access to the front control board on my Admiral GC2027HNKBS American fridge freezer. The freezer door control panel & ice/water dispenser has a stainless steel trim around it, the trim has a thin rubber seal behind it. There are no fastening screws under the ice/water dispenser drip tray and no screws to be seen anywhere on the trim. I have tried to lever the trim off with a thin screwdriver but it will not ‘give’ at all. It seems to be fixed in place very tightly and I cannot figure out how to remove it, or if there is another way to gain access to the front control board? I can supply detailed photographs of the front panel & trim etc. Can anyone please help me with this?

Hi, Last time I changed a door control board, there were two screws hidden behind the shelf the drip tray sat on beneth the dispensers. You need to pull out the shelf, undo the screws and the control panel is pushed down and out.

Hi this is the Whirlpool produced machine and there should be two small holes under the bottom of the dispenser, If there is, you should be able to insert a small terminal driver and flick the surround out from the bottom then carefully work around it unclipping it.
