Keymaster3 problems with my Smeg A2 cooker.
1. The neons on the ovens have stopped working & need replacing – can anyone supply these?
2. One of the therm,al cut-outs on the4 back of the ovens melted on Christmas day (1 hour before the turkey was cooked). I need a new one – it sya 44-99 140 degC on the back. Can anyone supply these?
3. the 2 wok rings cut out after about one muniutes use. The hob uses LPG from a bottle. All other rings work fine. Any ideas?

I can get the parts for you Mike.
Can you check the rating plate (around the door or in the warming drawer) and post up the version of A2 you have, it should have more letters/numbers after A2.
The cutting out problem on the burners may be dirty thermocouples. Try cleaning them off and try that, if that doesn’t work, they will most likely need replacing which will need to be done by a Corgi registered engineer.

That’ll do nicely 😀
Thermal cut out – 818730566 – £5.05
Neons – 824610505 – £4.58 eachPostage £4.50 all inc VAT.
An email to spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will get the ball rolling if you need to order.
How did you get on cleaning the thermocouples ?
And don’t forget to disconnect before fitting the above electrical parts :plug:

They’ll need replacing in that case Mike.
Corgi registered installer required for this, you can check repairs@ and the directories for one or pop up your postcode here.
On the other note, the thermal cut-outs are out of stock at Smeg currently so expected next week, I have the neons though ready to go when the stats arrive.

Hi
try this as this fault with the burners cutting out may well be caused by the knob.
turn the burner on as normal but remove the knob, then light the burner using a match whilst holding the knob shaft in,if it stays lite when you let go then you could just need a couple of knobs.
