I had a problem with the dishwasher where it tripped the electricty in the kitchen at some point and it resulted in a leak seemingly coming from the front left part of the machine.

I cannot locate the source of the leak.

I have cleaned the filter and topped up the salt and so I thought I would try it again.

Now when I turn the dishwasher on and set it to start, the first light somes on but nothing else happens. (I have checked the water inlet and it seems fine.) Eventually, the first two lights will flash. Still nothing happens.

There is nothing in the manual to help with this error.

I hope that someone out there can help. I hate doing the dishes manually…

    Thanks.

It’s probably still got some water in the base and has activated the anti-flood protection.

Try leaning it backwards and see if any water runs out (towells at the ready).

If it does, I would suggest you leave it to dry out for 24 hours as the fact that it tripped indicates that water has got in or on to an electrical component which may have been damamged as well.

If the error still occurs after that, it’s engineer time.

Thanks for that Dave. I have done the draining bit – talk about a lot of water!! Now I have to wait and see if it works in a few days.

    Will let you know.

    Thanks again,

I let it drain and dry and when I turned it on again a few days later, it filled with water and then started making a crackling noise – sounded like the water was getting ont he components or something.

    Anyway – it is knackered!!
And unfortunately you don’t have any engineers in my area.

    Thanks for your help.
