ParticipantI was amazed to see a nearly new Indesit IWDE126 washer dryer with no condenser valve or pipework attachment to the condenser.
How on earth is it supposed to dry without condensing water.
Has anyone any knowledge of this setup.
The appliance is in a caravan and has been damaged by frost.
To my surprise the valve only has two coils and no facility for the drying valve.
The customer only tried the dryer once and it just boiled her clothes.
Any help?
Bob

Two slightly different models depending on commercial code Bob and parts list shows both a treble valve and a single hot valve ????
Has been in production since 2011 BTW.
Picture of valve attached
Can send you the manual if you like, the only mention of the two different commercial codes relates to a ‘Standby function’.
Digging a little more reveals that what I suspect is the earlier model shows hoses from valve to condenser with part numbers, the second model shows the same hoses but with no part numbers suggesting they are not used. Checking further reveals two different outer drums so it may be possible that the feed to the condenser is via an internal channel on the later model???

Hi Jim.
Definitely only two coils on the valve and a blanked off nozzle on the condenser.

Very strange, that commercial code is the one shown with the hoses, triple valve and part numbers for hoses.
Machine was actually first produced in 2009 but your serial number suggests 2015.Forum member johnnyj may know the answer as the Partfinder software is known to be full of mistakes.
The copy of the manual I have is from 2011, do you want a copy?
Something in the back of my mind tells me the drum was altered but don’t quote me. 🙂

Here is a screen dump of your commercial code from Partfinder, you can see the hoses although I have no idea why it shows three different ones, and the part numbers for two of the hoses appear on the lower right of the screen?????

There was a change in the condenser, pressure switch etc, on later ones and this machine falls into that category but what I can gather there still should be a triple valve with a condenser hose to the condenser, I will check with a couple of my old workmates tomorrow.

Thanks boys…
I probably wont see the end of this one.
Its in a caravan that should have been protected by a frost stat but the site operators turned the power off. Hence the frost damage. They have agreed to cover the cost.
She is going to get Indesit to come out to repair the machine.
Would love to know the outcome though!
