    Hi All,

A bit of a strange one, but thought we smelt burning or something while oven in use.
After the oven was turned of, when we went to clean the inside, there was a slight noise such as a small motor still running, not loud enough for the main fan though.
I turned the oven on and it stopped, but the oven didn’t come on at all, nor did the light come on, completely dead.

This morning, heard a noise, and even though oven turned off, there was a small noise coming from it. Again, turned the oven on, this time oven light flashed once, noise stopped but oven still completely dead.
Have now turned of at mains.

Any help/ideas appreciated. I did fit a new element a couple of years ago.

    Thanks

    Tim

    Serial number 0105003081.
Apparently it’s the thermo overload that has gone, but the part is unavailable.
Would not another part fit, or does it mean a new oven.
It does seem a great shame when it is just a part you need.

    Thanks

    Tim

Re: Proline ECL 6300 BF problem

Just an update in case anyone is interested.
I managed to source a part that was the same size, and same rating etc.
Fixed it on and everything is good.
    Saved buying a new oven!

    Tim
