Hi all,
I’ve just moved to a new (rented) flat and now have a Indesit WIL133 washing machine.
After downloading the instructions I’ve become aware that the Program selection Knob isn’t “selecting” the corresponding program.
ie: If I select “Spin Only” the machine begins a 40 min. wash program.
I have been unable to work out how the program numbers printed on the machine correlate with those listed in the instructions.
The Knob itself only fits one way (due to a flat edge) so I wonder if the dial has “jumped” from the inside.

No, changing the Knob does change the program selected.
I just can’t work out which program is running.
I’ve even started timing it to try and work it out, with no sucess.Re: Indesit WIL133 Program Knob doesn’t match Programs
first thing to try is
unplug and take lid off. there is a ribbon cable connecting the top and bottom boards. unplug this cable and plug it back on about 3 times to clean contacts to make sure its got a good connection
the cable also connects to the lower board and if doing this at the top fails to cure it try same thing again on the bottom board
