    Have a whirlpool dishwasher here in the workshop, Around 5 mins into the wash cycle F6 begins to flash. I know F6 means water tap closed. It fills perfect and washes for a couple mins after the dishwasher fills. I did a service test of which Fa flashed during the fill period. So i changed the flowmeter and re done the service test. It filled perfect and even heated. After the test I selected a quick wash and it was washing for 10mins and then again F6 came back. I took it apart and cleaned the lens on OWI (its a smaller version the usual OWI) but to no avail F6 still comes up.

    It fills ok and begins the wash ok so any ideas Ladies and Gents

    Found the problem. The is a micro pcb in the diverter valve. Contacts were corroded and the button switch on it also broken. Replaced the button switch and resoldered contacts. No more f6
