    Hi everyone.

I have just bought a second hand Candy Comfort O Condensing dryer, model number GCC 591NB.

I plugged it in for the first time this evening and as soon as I press the start button, it kicks in for about half a second and then trips my electrics.

I had cleaned out the condenser as well as the fluff filter. The water tray is empty and there is no gunk on there. The dryer is only about 12 months old apparently.

I wondered if it could be due to the fact the condenser part was still wet from me running water through it to clear out all of the fluff in there. It is currently drying to see if it will work tomorrow but I wondered if anyone else had come across this.

The person I bought it from assures me it was working but it was kept in a shed, unused recently. Not sure if that helps work out what is wrong.

    Thank you in advance.

Because it’s been stored in a shed the heater is probably faulty but without using a megga (insulation tester) to check the appliance you can’t be 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} the 31 number is inside the door which can identify how old the appliance is.
