ParticipantBeen to above machine, code 859299515140. power getting to module but no lights at all. Ordered new board from connect wplc00313023 but same fault. Have i got a faulty board or is it unprogrammed.
After searching on here i found the thread about the r20 resister but am concerned as to why the new board didn’t work. May try the resistor but typically the customer couldn’t live further away (wise i’d bought machine back with me )February 7, 2017 at 9:27 pm #445139electrofix

if you connect mains direct to the board on the blue connector it should light. try it with the old board first
would not be the first time I got faulty boards from connect

Yes, i have mains voltage at the blue connector but no lights, i suspect from further reading it is an unprogrammed board from connect , or are you saying even if unprogrammed it should light up ? The fact several people before me have had the same problem with a new board makes me think they can’t all be faulty and there must be a reason ( ie, unprogrammed board ? )
If this is the case, why are they selling unprogrammed boards which are no use to 99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of us, and why are the programmed boards so much more expensive ?February 8, 2017 at 10:12 am #445141electrofix

they just sell the boards and expect the person ordering it to be able to fit it. you need to check the board is preconfigured
cant be certain but most board configured or not will give some lights. are you certain you have both live and neutral at the blue connector ?
you could open old board and check that resistor. if the resistor has blown I would also change the power supply chip which is a small 7 leg chip. not sure which chip is fitted to this module but look up lnk364pn on Google it will give you an idea what your looking for. changes lots of these common fault on lots of units today

You need to check the 12 nc as it is not listed on wedoc ;you very possibly have the wrong board
