Hi Guys,
My first post on here so hope someone can help. I have a nearly eight year old Bosch Exxcel 7 model number WAE 24468GB/15 FD 8910 and up to now it never gave a minutes trouble. Actually only the other day I was singing its praises to another family member but I guess I tempted fate by doing so. Anyway its not giving up an error code, well thats not exactly true, I did see F17 at one stage but I cant get it up again on the digital display. There is power coming into the machine but I dont know how to access the error codes. Anyway error codes can be misleading I’ve also read somewhere.
When I select a programme and press the start button it does nothing only making an intermittent clicking sound. The red light on the start button is flashing but I dont know whether thats normal. I checked the inlet vale with a multimeter and it appears to be OK.
Someone somewhere said it could be a PCB problem and I believe they are quite expensive. Is there any way of troubleshooting if its a PCB problem, also how do I access the error codes. Any help appreciated
