Hi again! I think I may have posted in the wrong section previously so here goes. Our Caple fridge freezer has just died on us, the compressor has gone and Ive done a few tests to double check. So Ive read through the buying guide and been researching brands, but I am still a little confused. I would love a liebherr and would be happy to pay for such great build quality but I just won’t fit it in the space we have available 177 high and 92 wide, but with some careful carpentry I could make the space bigger to 180 high and 100 wide. Now it doesn’t need to be a side by side I do quite like the french door ones too. Ive taken onboard what Samuri said about Daewoo and how bosch and siemens are in that same category. I think I may have also read that some bosch and other FF’s are actually also Daewoo rebadged??? So this is where I am at right now, Ive seen the Daewoo and its Ok and the price is great around £700 isn for one with ice and water which is important to my husband. What else is there that is decent or with great warranties because I really can’t be hassled with having to pay out again after 2 years. I want something of quality that will last and be cheap to service repair. What are my options?
