You know how it goes…
I need someone out as quickly as possible as we have a 5 month old baby & need the dishwasher working!!There’s lots of permutations of this & I’m thinking of producing a Top Trump style chart of who is more worthy of a quicker visit.
(Tongue in cheek all this obviously but it’s winding me up at the moment what people say to get you out quicker)

thankfully the voices in my head usually stay there — but do creep out now and again when faced with people who cant fathom out there little emergency is 1 of 10 i may have that day

I call them Blackmail calls. If you answer your mobile phone on a Saturday or Sunday you get these so best to switch it off.
Common one ‘The washing machines stopped full of water and I cant get the clothes out and the kids need their uniforms for school tomorrow’. Funny if you fall for this and ruin your sunday how miraculously they have managed to get the clothes out when you get there.
