Hotpoint 2 year old TCUD97B6HM(UK)

Not a question but went to the above tumble dryer its 2 years old and the belt had gone stringy and was jamming the jockey pulley. This t/dryer is the one with the new type Askoll motor. Well I changed the belt part C00297210 and discovered why it had had a problem: the belt is aligned with the edge of the screws that hold the drum paddles to the drum so I tried to reposition the belt but you can`t, just rides over the side of the screw heads and can`t do anything to make the drum sit further forward; no doubt be seeing her again in 2 years time! Anyone else come across this yet? Poor design by the looks of it!
