hotpoint aquarius dwm 37

Hello,
as the title says we have a hotpoint aquarius dwm 37, the problem we are having is that when we start the dishwasher the cycle start then stops, no lights or anything showing. its just like there is no power going to the dishwasher a few hours later the dishwasher wakes itself up and continues the cycle. this happens on all the programs, can anyone help with this please?
