Fault ~ sticks @ 8 o’clock on the dial & trips when turned on

Machine works on arrival but element showing poor resistance to earth so replaced ,Machine now doesnt trip but still sticks at 8 o’clock crocks clean but full of water is there a stat that I have missed or has the element blown the timer contact ?
Why do these faults always show up on a friends m/c 🙄

You sure that’s the right model Lawrence ?

I’m guessing it’s prefixed with ESI rather than ES1 but I can’t find anything with either 1602 or just 602 on the end.

Should be 2 thermostats, one sits in a bracket by the heater and another little one screws into the underside of the tub on r/h/s underneath.

It looks like there are two stats in it, one temp control and the overheat cut-out.

Have you looked on the TDS disk for the wiring diagram ? It is on there 😀

    Dave.
