Baumatic door seal

I have replaced my goalpost seal on my Baumatic dishwasher as the old one came off with the opening of the drawer. The replacement also kept coming off each time I opened the diir after the first couple of times. Can anyone suggest how I overcome this problem. I have a new seal to out in as I feel the old one probably became mishapen from getting caught up in the basket. Thank you
